15.2 Relational Learning

The tasks involved with making predictions of a relation based on observed relations are covered under the umbrella of relational learning. This could encompass making predictions about what relations are true of individuals, making predictions about which terms denote the same individual, and making predictions about the existence of individuals with certain properties and relationships with other individuals.

This section considers two instances of learning relations. The first is learning a relation in terms of other relations. The second can be used for learning a relation even if there are no other relations defined.
